Sorry for the delay in posts, you will see why as we move through the days. I just wanted to start this one by saying – yes, we are okay.
Today we drove from Farragut State Park to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. We made a quick stop in Cranbrook to get groceries along the way as we heard groceries are sparse once we get to Fairmont Hot Springs. We got the essentials – fruits and vegetables and milk. Did you know you either must bring your own bag in Canada or pay for your bag when you check out? I love and hate that idea all at the same time. And there are taxes and deposits when buying things like milk? I didn’t know that. Surprise!!
Fairmont Hot Springs is great. The RV park is adjacent to the hotel/resort and the actual hot springs pool area. We had full hook-ups (nice long hot showers!!), and all the amenities available at the hotel/resort. We had a nice pull-thru paved pad and a bit of shade with beautiful views of the sunset and mountains. We were warned that there were bears in the area, but the only wildlife we saw in the park were some deer which were chased away by some guy’s dog.
We had dinner at The Lodge in the Hotel; Braxton had the pork Tomahawk, Mike had the lamb shank, and I had the herb crusted Basso. Everything was delicious! Our server had his hand wrapped with gauze, so naturally I had to ask if he was ok and what happened. He fell off his long board skating down the mountain the leads up to Fairmont Hot Springs. I tried to not lecture him about being safe, but I might have commented that helmets and pads are not a bad idea when skateboarding down mountains. When we later drove back down the mountain, I realized that maybe a more stern motherly/healthcare provider/caring citizen lecture wouldn’t have been an overreaction. Oh well, I will save it for my own kid.
After dinner we headed back to the Airstream, aka the “No Work Zone”, to do a bit of blogging and watch a fantastic sunset.

Good to see you back! I was about to call your editor for new posts. 😆I love about that healthcare provider, stern motherly and caring citizen part. Totally second that!
Thanks for following along! We’ve had some hiccups with our schedule and with lack of cell/wi-fi but we’re still here!! It’s great to hear from you!!
