Not much to report about today. We had a long drive from Anchorage to Tok. Google says its about a five and half hour drive but with a trailer and a couple stops, it’s an all day event. We saw some beautiful scenery including the Matanuska Glacier from the Glenn Rollercoaster, oops – I mean Glenn Highway.
We’re staying at Sundog Haven again from Harvest Hosts. We stayed here on Day 20 and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay here on the way back through Tok. Yet again, our hosts Heather and Mark we very gracious offering us water to top off our tanks if we needed it and letting us use their Wi-Fi.
For dinner tonight, Braxton smoked some potatoes on the Traeger and cooked the Spicy Italian Sausages from Tommy G’s Meat & Sausage that we bought while in Fairbanks. The potatoes were delicious and if you like super spicy, the Spicy Italian Sausages are right up your alley.
