Day 2

Day 2 should be pretty straight forward. Just picking up our son from Summer Camp and bringing him back to the hotel for a nice shower and then do some laundry.

Well, before setting off to pick up our son, we needed to make a trip to the store, which ended up being trips to four different stores. Our objective was to find solutions for a couple near misses we had during our day one travels. We had a couple cupboards that came partially open during travel and the mirror of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom flipped up a bit. Luckily the contents of cupboards and medicine cabinet didn’t spill out. But it was a close call. We ended up getting some of the “no skid” drawer liner for the cupboards and after buying a couple options to secure the medicine cabinet mirror, we decided to try a small command hook and a hair band to keep it shut. Stay tuned to see if either were successful!

After picking up our sweet boy from camp, we went for lunch at Reo’s Pizza in Cascade, ID. It was really very good. The boys had been there previously as an after snow skiing meal, but this was my first time.

After eating we went back to the hotel, Braxton got his shower and some R&R time while Mike and I went to do Braxton’s camp laundry. It was obvious we weren’t experts at laundromats, but we got the job done nonetheless.

Dinner was from a taco truck down the street and that’s a day for us, folks. Tomorrow we’re off to Farragut State Park.

Trying to figure out the machines at the laundromat.
